PWM Soft Start/Soft Stop Variable Speed DC Motor Speed Controller Recoverable Overcurrent Protection PWM Switch Control 9-70V 35A
【variable speed pedals support】This dc motor speed controller supports variable speed control pedals, and also supports maximum speed settings in this mode to set the maximum safe speed your child needs;
【Soft Start/Soft Stop Support】This power wheels speed controller reduce the impact of inrush current when starting and stopping suddenly, prolong the life of the motor and gear, and enhance the safety of children when upgrading children's electric vehicles;
【Max 35A Peak Current Automatic Overcurrent Protection】 when the peak current of this speed controller for electric motor exceeds 35A or continuous current exceeds 20A, The PWM will be automatically reduced to maintain the output continuous current of 20A. When the current is reduced, it will automatically recover. Fuse will never need to be replaced;
【Mounting Holes】This dc motor controller can be installed directly using screws without external mounting positioning accessories.
This variable speed controller have 0~100% duty cycle adjustment. 16.23khz frequency. 9-70V input voltage support, have working indication,Aluminum alloy shell. Stronger and more durable. Can bu used in power wheels replacement parts,pwm fan controller,power wheels replacement parts
PWM 2.0A Module Introduction
Specification:
• Soft Start Time: 3 Seconds;
• Soft Stop Time: 3 Seconds ;
• Variable Speed Pedal Input Range: 1.0V ~ 4.0V Corresponding to pwm 0%~100%
• Soft Stop Input Pin: 0 / 5V (0v stop,5v start)
• Applicable Voltage Range: DC 9-70V Soft Start Time: 3 seconds;
• Max peak-peak current: 35A
• Max Continuous Operating Current: 20A (When using high power, please make sure that the housing is fully dissipated)
• Duty Cycle Adjustable Range: 0%-100%
• PWM Frequency: about 16.23KHz
• Fuse: automatic recoverable electronic fuse (When the peak current is greater than 35A and the continuous current is greater than 20A, PWM is automatically reduced, and it will maintain the maximum current at 20A. When the current is reduced, PWM recovers.)
Configuration A
Configuration A: This configuration mode does not use a variable-speed accelerator pedal or a brake pedal. Instead, it directly controls the power supply of the PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) module via a 2-pin throttle switch.
The advantages of this mode are low cost and relatively simple wiring; the disadvantages are that it only has a power-on soft-start function — the accelerator pedal can only control the motor's start and stop (the motor speed is the value preset by the potentiometer), and soft-stop is not supported.
Configuration B
Configuration B: This configuration mode uses a 6-pin pedal switch that integrates both the throttle switch and brake switch. When the pedal switch is pressed, the battery connects to the PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) module to start output, and the motor begins to operate. When the pedal is released while the vehicle is in motion, the connection between the battery and the PWM module is disconnected — the module stops outputting power and short-circuits the motor to generate reverse braking force, thereby achieving the braking effect. When the pedal is pressed again, power is restored to the PWM module and the module restarts. This configuration mode adds a braking function, making it safer than Configuration A.
Configuration C
Configuration C: Based on Configuration B, this mode adds an additional brake pedal. It not only enables speed control but also comes with a braking function, resulting in a more responsive driving experience.
When the brake pedal is pressed while the vehicle is in motion, the connection between the battery and the PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) module will be disconnected. The module will stop outputting power and short-circuit the motor to generate reverse braking force, thereby achieving the braking effect.
When the brake pedal is released, power will be restored to the PWM module and the module will restart.
If both the variable-speed accelerator pedal and the brake pedal are pressed simultaneously, the variable-speed accelerator pedal will be inactive (as the PWM module is in a power-off state). The functionality of the variable-speed accelerator pedal will resume once the brake pedal is released. Configuration C is recommended.
Variable Speed Pedals Support
This pwm dc motor speed controller has independent variable speed control pedal interface and soft start/soft stop interface. When using the variable speed pedal mode, the potentiometer works simultaneously to control the maximum speed to ensure that the child enjoys the powerwheels at a safe speed.
The Variable Speed pedals/Soft Start Interface is compatible with SH1.0 3 pin (pin pitch 1mm), and our corresponding pedals already include a connector compatible with this interface, no need to buy it separately. But if you don't plan to use the pedals provided by our company, you may need to prepare this type of connector separately.
